Dear Mr. Brown
Please find attached a current copy of the plat, color renderings of the landscaping and
housing types, and minutes from the April 18 city council meeting for the proposed
Keego Springs subdivision.
The current plat has been redrawn to meet councilman Rountree's motion of meeting the
R-4 minimum lot size. The R-4 minimum lot size according to the City of Meridians
zoning ordinance is 8000 square feet. We are trying to work with you on your concerns
regarding the design of the Keego Springs project. We have also included on the plat the
street connection to the Volterra Subdivision where there will be a signalized intersection
for you and your neighbors to take advantage of. We have placed a pedestrian
connection into the school site for your children to utilize on their way to school.
I will work with you on your concerns with the fencing issue. I do understand your
concern. We can discuss possible solutions at a meeting, if you so desire.
I am truly sorry for the meeting that I failed to attend with your neighborhood. With the
birth of a new baby, just over a week ago, things are very chaotic right now. I know this
is no excuse. I would frankly be upset if it was me. I can offer you a huge apology and
the promise of attendance at a meeting of your choice if you and your group so desire.
