To whom it may concern: My family and I are residents of Bridgetower West south of Mc Millian and strongly opposed the development ideas of apartment buildings behind the Walmart building. First reason being the inability to widen McMillian due to the irrigation canals running parallel. Traffic is already a nightmare especially when you get futher west to Blackcat. There can be very long lines at the stop sign (I've seen them a half mile long at 7:20 am) indicating to me the road is already experiencing excessive use. Second reason being the absence of a crosswalk across McMillian for San Vito. My family and kids walk to the neighborhood park and pool across McMillian and the road is so busy it is already difficult to get across safely. Adding 400 some odd apartments and the traffic coming and going, turning left out of San Vito and going down Mcmillian would make it very dangerous without a proper crosswalk. There are so many apartment buildings rapidly being built in the near vicinity. Off ten Mile and the interstate, off Linder and State street, All up and down State street in Boise. Hundreds and hundreds of new apartments. Please reconsider allowing these apartments. My family and I appreciate your consideration and time. Best Regards, James and Blair Rauch 1
