Burley Ave. File: OA+D #220604 Re: Certificate of Zoning Compliance/Design Review Dear Planning Staff; OA+D is pleased to submit the attached Design Review and Certificate of Zoning Compliance Applications and supporting materials for a new Sherwin-Williams' paint store located at 3302 North Burley Ave. (LOT 8, Block 1, McNellis Subdivision) in Meridian Idaho. The proposed project will be a 1-story, 6,000 sf building. The architectural character of the building has been modified slightly from the standard Sherwin Williams prototype to meet City design standards. All four building facades incorporate a uniform material palate of stone, stucco, horizontal banding, storefront windows, awnings, modulation, and horizontal and vertical material/color changes to create a cohesive design. The building will have a flat roof with parapet walls that screen all mechanical equipment from view. The rooflines are formed by parapet walls that modulate from 22'-0" for the main body of the building up to 24'-6" at the retail portion of the building on the west end. The property is 1.12 acres, with (2) access points proposed off of N. Burley Ave. Truck access is provided on the East side of the building with pedestrian access to the existing sidewalk at the southwest corner of the building.
