The proposed design has 1 internal trash room, this room is located next to the vertical circulation at the
south end of the building. The internal trash room is to be operated and maintained by building
management. The Internal trash room is a minimum size of 10'-0" by 10'-0" clear, with an 8'-0" x 8'-0"
overhead door. The proposed room will hold (1) 3-yard dumpster.
On day of trash collection, building management will transport the 3-yard trash dumpster from this internal
location to the trash staging area on the site. The trash staging area is located immediately to the south of
the building (the striped area shown on the site plans immediately south of the overhead door). The
staging area is a minimum of 12'-0" by 20'-0". After the trash is collected the dumpster will be returned to
the internal trash room. This set-up assumes there could be multiple trash collections to the site per week if
required. The final frequency of trash pickup can be further coordinated with Republic Services as we work
through design.

In addition to trash the building also has a 7'-0" x 8'-0" re -use area, This area is intended as a place to
located unused boxes or storage vessels to be allow for the immediate reuse of such containers thereby
reducing overall waste at the facility.
