I am writing in regards the proposed apartments that will be built between WalMart and a portion of the Bridgetower
subdivision. The proposed apartments will be a clear and present danger to the community, as it will be situated in an
area that will create a rather dangerous confluence of traffic lanes. Even with the current set up, the area just East of
the proposed improvements is developing into an ever increasingly dangerous challenge to navigate safely. McMillan
road needs to widened to a total of four lanes before this area will be more manageable, but until then, the current road
conditions are going to only get worse with the increase in housing being developed towards Black Cat. The proposed
apartments will funnel directly in the area that needs to be widened and addressed before any direct housing expansion
occurs. In light of the limitations on McMillan Road, it would be unwise to consider compounding the existing issues in
the area with an additional 400+ more cars that MUST use this arterial.
