Good Day- I’m a homeowner near Black Cat and Gondola. I urge Planners and Citizen’s to oppose the approval of a 3 story apartment density development with the following concerns. -Response time for emergency services are at or near unfavorable levels for everyone’s public safety. -All area schools which are nearly new are at or near capacity already and ample neighborhoods are not yet build out nearby. -No School Cross Walk is yet in place on Black Cat Rd. at Gondola - yet only a few blocks from a new 2 year old school-an example of very poor planning still not corrected. -Both Bridge Tower neighborhoods will clearly be negatively affected by the increased traffic and ample congestion in the immediate neighborhood posing an added and greater risk to elementary school aged children and parents. -McMillan Road is still only a two lane farm road and ample traffic back ups are common. The present road infrastructure appears very inadequate for the size and density of the proposed development directly south and adjacent to the parcel. Please STOP and think about hitting the brakes on the out of control and poorly planned growth to lessen future congestion and increase the Safety for the Citizens and Children of Meridian.
