Wildwood St. Boise, Idaho 83713 Ph (208) 353-0734 Date: July 28, 2022 Re: Ten Mile Crossing Dear Planning Department, This letter is in regards a new project called Ten Mile Crossing. This will be a shell & core building for future tenants that will be used as office space, or business use. The building itself will be constructed out of either steel stud framing or wood stud framing with wood trusses for the roof. The exterior finishes on the building will have a good mixture of materials including Brick Wainscot, exterior stucco finish, fluted high grade metal siding. The colors will be charcoal gray for the exterior trim, Cavern (Tan) & Gray White for the exterior stucco, almond color for the high grade metal siding, and Chesapeake Blend (dark gray) for the brick wainscot. Also the window frames will be clear anodize finish, with light gray glazing. The roof will consist of a TPO membrane roof system, which will not be seen due to the parapets on the building. There will be a steel awning over the storefronts as well. These awnings will help break up the elevations and will help in the look of the building as well. The site plan, will have a good mixture of landscaping, paving and building for the overall coverage of the site. This site will have the required parking out front, along with two accessible parking stalls. The proposed 21'-0" high facility is well under the allowed maximum height and the facility is situated such that it complies with the setback requirements for the C-G Zone. We have shown landscaping to enhance the building design which will be consistent with good practices and will have a variety of plant materials. The landscape plan will have similar soft and hard surfaces as the existing surrounding buildings. The site lighting will be done with lights from the building. All wall mounted exterior light fixtures which will transmit the light downward towards the parking only. The mechanical units will be placed on the roof and be screened from the wall parapets. No units will be seen from the ground. We hope this project will be acceptable to the planning department. We feel that this new building will add to the quality of architecture and distinctiveness of the area, also fit the needs of the owners. Please call if you have any questions or comments, Sincerely, Glenn Walker, AIA, ADP Architects, PA 1891 N. Wildwood St. Boise Idaho 83713.208-353-0734 / gwalker@adpboise.com
