Hello,
I'm writing to share my concerns and plea for the city of Meridian to not go through with the proposed Multi- family
complex on McMillan road, across from Walmart. The number of homes already in this area is growing beyond the
capacity for the roads to handle. Traffic is a disaster as is and this is before the homes that are currently being built are
even fully occupied.
On top of the traffic, our schools are already to full. My 1st grader is in a class of 29 students, and there are three other
1st grade classes with the same number of students. Unless there is a plan to build another elementary, middle and high
school within the next 2 years, adding more homes in this area is ridiculous.
We moved here two years ago to get away from over crowded streets and schools. We loved Meridian because it wasn't
that along with so many other wonderful aspects. Please do not allow Meridian to become this way.
I would like to know what our community can do beyond emailing and calling to make sure our voices are heard.
