To Whom it May Concern,
I am strongly against the proposed Bridgetower apartments for the following reasons:
1. We recently bought a house in the Bridgetower West community and paid a fairly large premium to live in this
neighborhood because both Bainbridge and Bridgetower West prevent owners from renting their house. We felt this
would lead to being surrounded by established families. Building these apartments goes strongly against that and will
lead to more transient residents and likely hurt property values.
2. Both McMillan and San Vito are too small to handle the proposed increase in traffic. We already face traffic related
issues on both roads (especially the intersection of the two) and the increased traffic will further exacerbate the issue.
3. The apartments will further strain the capacity of our schools, which are already struggling to keep up and likely
damage the quality of the education offered there.
4. As mentioned earlier, the apartments will likely lead to more transient residents, which may cause an uptick in crime
and a decrease in the quality of our neighborhood.
We have we all paid a big premium to live in this part of town as it's a very desirable neighborhood. These apartments
are counter to why we want to live here. Please don't approve them just because they seem lucrative to the city and the
developer. These apartments are not a fit for our neighborhood and I strongly oppose them.
Best,
Chad Tyler
