Dear Mayor and City Council Members I am writing with an urgent request. If it were at all possible I would be in attendance at the meeting this evening, but I cannot and am therefore sending my request via email. I am asking the you honor the newly adopted distracting map and not change things just so certain people get the jobs they want. We cannot and should not be able to undo things just to make them the way that we want them. This feels so similar to the current administration (biden) just redefining terms to make things seem better or appear the way he wants them to. The lines have been drawn and now we move forward from here, not change them to fit our (your) own agenda. This is not ok and I am hopeful that you will listen to us, the people you represent and abide by the current district map. Please do the right thing in this situation and don't get stuck in the political games. Like it or not, this is how things were broken down, now move forward. Regards, Renae Topham 1 2
