Just a comment about the proposed change on Zoning to the property in Locust Grove Heights subdivision. I think you have heard this comment before and it seems to be questioned every time the piece of property goes up for sale. Beside the fact that it is in a subdivision but now facing a high traffic and high speed limit road seems a little crazy. This property is so close to a traffic light and people are going to want to turn left out of that drive way and it is going to be one accident after another. The apartments at the corner of Franklin and Locust Grove should have been the warning of this possible error in that development. I have been going up Locust Grove and people have come at me directly and all cars going North had to come to a screeching stop and they came directly head on to enter the west side of the road. They just laugh at you and it is very scary and dangerous. This will happen at this location too. I have been living at my home for over 40 years and it seems like there is some kind of opinion that it doesn't really matter just as long as someone can make some money on a piece of land disregarding the safety of anyone . This road Locust Grove has turned into a freeway with no regard to speed limits, they come off the hill and though the intersection at Bentley going 70 miles an hour through red lights. We need cameras. The other day there was a police car pulled off the road between Franklin and Bentley and it was the first time in a long time that the cars were all going 40 mph on Locust Grove. Interesting that as long as you don't get caught you are not breaking the law. Jeannette Tanner 2075 Bentley Drive 208 250 7964 1
