I. Cohesive Design
a. The building incorporates the exterior finishes and colors to match the Albertson's on
the site
II. Building Scale
a. The building is single level with large window openings and painted aluminum awnings
creating a positive pedestrian experience. The facade is also articulated breaking down
the structure into smaller masses.
III. Building Form
a. The building is single story with vertical and horizontal articulations that complement
the Albertson's on the site. Pitched shed roof elements along with raised flat roof areas
add interest to the fagade.
IV. Architectural Elements
a. Change in material and building shape create an articulated fagade. Combined with
painted aluminum awnings, this creates a scalable pedestrian experience.
V. Materials
a. The exterior materials and colors match the Albertson's with the addition of stone
veneer to provide for a cohesive site design.
VI. Signs and Lighting
a. Walk mounted signs will be installed above the awnings.
b. Wall mounted down -lights will provide illumination at the entries and emergency exit
lighting.
VII. Mechanical Systems
a. Rooftop HVAC units will be installed and screened with a wall finished in Nichiha
composite siding.
Vill. Trash Enclosure
a. Trash enclosure will be screened with a CMU wall painted to match the building. The
gate will be painted steel to match the building awnings.
IX. Parking Lots
a. The parking lot has been approved with the Albertson's Master Plan
