I would like to provide an opportunity for my neighbors to ask questions or learn more about my childcare plans. So, I will be hosting an informational gathering at my home on Tuesday 6/21 at 6:00 pm, and 1 invite you to attend. I've also included some basic information below. If you cannot attend but would like to discuss my plans further, or if you would prefer to participate remotely by Zoom, please text my husband Pascal (208)473-0520. If you do wish to attend via Zoom, please also include your email address and first/last name when you text Pascal. How do Family Child Care Homes operate? Although I will determine my own program services, hours (within Meridian city code), and fees, most family child care programs operate weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. My husband Pascal and I will provide transportation for the children. This will prevent parking concerns or extra traffic on our street. If a parent needs to visit, they will be instructed to escort children safely to and from cars, to park in our driveway, and to be quiet, not honk or create a nuisance. I will not be making any exterior or physical changes to our property (no signs visible structures etc). I am a proud first-time homeowner in Meridian. 1 will always be compliant with state and local childcare regulations, which include: CPR/First Aid certification, minimum of 12 hours of annual childcare classes, and current Idaho and federal background checks for all members of my household 13 years or older. I also carry liability insurance. When children are in my care, I will be responsible for their supervision at all times. I anticipate outdoor play time to be limited to one hour after 9 am and one hour after 1 pm, and noise will be kept below the level stipulated by Meridian city code. do not anticipate that my small childcare will create any inconvenience for my neighbors.
