Dear Sirs:
I apologize for my demeanor and the extra time I used up at the meeting on April 6, 2006
regarding Hightower Subdivision. I was wrong to let my fiustration ftom the double~ta1k
during the past 45 days ftom the Hightower LLC team affect my delivery to your
commission. My attitude was horrible. I also erred Ùl not preparing sufficiently to
provide a succinct verbal presentation.
My global argwnent is that height restrictions are an eftèctive means to create product
values that median income families can afford and that height restrictions do not create an
unfeasible profit situation for developers. Homes at 25 feet are still 2 ~ stories tall.
However, homes at 35 feet are 3 ~ stories tall; that just seems to be too much house on a
4800sflot.
In ever speak Ùl Hont of the commission again, I will endeavor to be more efficient.
