RE: Notice of Neighborhood Meeting - Annexation and Preliminary Plat
Dear Neighbor,
I am writing to inform you of a proposed annexation with R-8 zoning and preliminary plat application. There
will be an in -person meeting held in the cafeteria at Victory Middle School, 920 W. Kodiak Drive, Meridian,
ID 83642 on Thursday, March 101h, 2022 at 6:00 PM. At this meeting, the project team will share the
proposed plans and is seeking both feedback and any questions that you may have.
Formal hearings will follow at City of Meridian Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council with such
notices sent to you from City of Meridian when the hearing date approaches. This meeting is not a City of
Meridian sanctioned event, and no City of Meridian staff will be present.
Project Summary:
The annexation & preliminary plat applications concern parcel S1224314800 (+/- 5 acres) in Meridian, Idaho
located at 2707 S. Stoddard Rd. Annexation into the City of Meridian with City of Meridian R-8 residential
zoning is proposed with municipal water & sewer connection. A preliminary plat is required for the planned
development of the parcels.
The site is planned to be built into roughly 15 lots, including the existing home that shall remain. The average
lot size will be about 7,500 s.f. A single access is to be provided at S Stoddard Rd to provide internal access
on site. All homes are to be serviced by individual water, sewer, and pressure irrigation. Landscaping
amenities are proposed throughout the development. A site plan including these details will be presented
at the meeting.
