Brian,
We cannot indefinitely postpone an application. We either need to continue it to a date certain, or we need to
have a letter requesting withdraw. I would encourage you NOT to withdraw the project at this time. I think we can
work together to come up with a design that meets our collective needs. You may want to continue the item for
one month to give us some time to collaborate on the site design.
I will admit that our code does not accommodate projects such as yours very well. (I'm guessing you already
figured that out.) However, I want to work on the code so that it does accommodate well-designed multi-
family/condoltownhouse developments. Otherwise, the only projects that have any density in the City of Meridian
will be apartment buildings. I would rather encourage townhouses. I suspect that if we can figure out something
that works for Casa Meridiana, it would work for the rest of the City as well.

Anna-
Due to our inability to maintain our desired number of residential units at the Casa Meridiana Subdivision, we are
requesting that the City Council hearing be postponed indefinitely. We will let you know if and when we have a
new design for your review.
Thanks,
Brian Holleran
