Meridian , ID 83642 Re : Alamar Subdivision Letter of Concern Dear City Council : The purpose of this letter is to inform you of our concern with the Alamar Subdivision and to provide information about our proposed Newkirk Neighborhood to the North of the Alamar Property . As the Developer of the 20+ acres of property directly North of the Alamar Subdivision we are concerned about the local street connectivity in the area . Our Newkirk Neighborhood will provide the final piece of the transportation puzzle in this area allowing the collector roadway to connect Black Cat Road and Franklin Road . This connection will play a big part in relieving the traffic congestion on Black Cat . But the local network between the new collector and Franklin Road needs to be studied . We are concerned that this area has not been planned for the development of the adjoining parcels, for this rteason we ask the Council to add conditions that will facilitate future development and require the necessary connectivity . Newkirk is in the development stage of the preliminary plat application ; we project a submittal by June 25th of this year. For the reasons stated above we are in support of the Alamar Subdivision Application , but we are concerned about the local street network and believe that it needs to be studied prior to a full approval of the development .
