Per the City's recent code updated, Black & Veatch and AT&T evaluated this search area for existing facilities suitable for collocation of AT&T's small cell equipment, and are proposing to collocated on an Ada County Highway District traffic signal at the intersection of W Cherry Ln and N Black Cat Rd. AT&T and ACHD entered into a Master License Agreement for locating within the ROW in March of 2021. That MLA document is attached to this application for reference. ACHD has completed an initial review of the location and confirmed this traffic signal is available for collocating, but will not issue final permits until receiving a zoning certification from the City of Meridian. Black & Veatch/AT&T are also working with Idaho Power to deliver power service to a handhole at the base of the existing traffic signal as depicted in the drawings. The proposed pole installation will include the following: Scope of work: • 1 canister antenna to be installed • 1 antenna mount to be installed • 1 dual band radio unit with an enclosure to be installed • 1 hand hole to be installed The valuation of work for this project is approximately $1,500.
