One bid was received for this project that was deemed non responsive by the Public Works Department because it had conditions attached to it. . Andritz-Ruthner, Inc. $2,874,980 Since there were no responsive bids received for this project, the code allows the Public Works Department to enter into contract negotiations with a selected supplier. The Public Works Department requests to enter into contract negotiations with Andritz-Ruthner, Inc. Recommended Council Action: The Public Works Department recommends that City Council declares the bid for the Procurement of Biosolids Direct Dryer System with Andritz-Ruthner, Inc. for $2,874,980 non responsive and authorizes the Public Works Department to enter into contract negotiations with Andritz-Ruthner, Inc for a Biosolids Direct Dryer System.
