Dear Sirs and Madams,
I would like to respectfully submit comments regarding the Timberline North PFP H-2022-0024 application for
a project request to build on Victory Road at Meridian.
I have previously submitted comments regarding this issue when it came up at a prior meeting last year and
my comments remain unchanged.
I am not in favor of this project for the following reasons:
1. The area is already very congested with traffic and with multiple dwellings being constructed and all
funneling out to Victory Road, I foresee severe traffic problems. The exit/entrance into the property
would be in very close proximity to the intersection Meridian and Victory and the traffic slow down
caused by multiple turning into the area would certainly be a traffic hazard as well as slow down traffic
immensely. Additionally, there is a school crossing located very close to this area and I'm concerned
that children would be endangered by the additional traffic.
2. The area does not have the infrastructure needed for this type of development. It lacks public
transport, shopping, and the like needed for this kind of utilization.
3. The schools in the area are already overcrowded and the addition of this many families to such a small
area would further burden the schools.
4. Property values for established home dwellings would be negatively impacted by this project.
At the last meeting, there was also discussion regarding the use of this property as a nature reserve as it is a
habitat already for multiple birds because of the environment.
