HomeMy WebLinkAboutSummary of ActionBEFORE THE MERIDIAN CITY COUNCIL LAND EXCHANGE BETWEEN THE ) SUMMARY OF ACTION TAKEN BY CITY OF MERIDIAN AND FARMERS & ) MERIDIAN CITY COUNCIL MERCHANTS STATE BANK ) ) ) On the 2-,~~- day of ~"~6~ ,2002, the Meridian City Council, in open session, approved an Exchange Agreement between the City of Meridian and Farmers & Merchants State Bank, whereby the City would transfer the old Meridian Road fire station property valued at $260,000.00 to Farmers & Merchants State Bank in exchange for three (3) parcels of property immediately adjacent to the current police department facility at 201 East Idaho, Meridian, Idaho 83642, together with an additional sum of $22,269.00, for a total value of $260,000.00. The fire station property has an address of 716 North Meridian Road, Meridian, Idaho, and is more particularly described as follows: Lots 1 through 5 in Block 2 of the amended plat of the Original Townsite of Meridian, as shown on the official plat thereof filed in Book 1 of Plats at Page 30, Records of Ada County, Idaho. The three parcels of property to be exchanged have addresses of 237 E. Idaho Avenue, 231 E. Idaho Avenue, 223 E. Idaho Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, and are more particularly described as follows: Lots 1,2,3,4 and 5, Block 2 of the amended plat of Rowan Addition to Meridian, Ada County, Idaho The value of the three parcels is $237,731.00.
