APPLICABILITY: LANDSCAPE BUFFERS SHALL BE REQUIRED ALONG STREETS IN ALL LOCATIONS, EXCEPT FOR LOCAL STREETS ADJACENT TO SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, DUPLEX, AND TOWNHOUSE PROPERTIES. 5.1. THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER IS REQUIRED FOR THIS DISTRICT ON ANY PARCEL SHARING A CONTIGUOUS LINE WITH A RESIDENTIAL LAND USE. 5.2. BARRIER EFFECTIVENESS: THE REQUIRED BUFFER AREA SHALL RESULT IN A BARRIER THAT ALLOWS TREES TO TOUCH AT THE TIME OF THE TREE MATURITY 5.3.
