I don't see a way to write directly to the zoning commission so it is my hope you can forward this to them.
Dear Planning and Zoning,
As an Idaho native and longtime resident of Meridian I have become increasingly concerned with the
consistent trend of higher density developments. I was present during the last zoning meeting with
Burnside Ridge Estates. I found it very refreshing to see a developer putting in larger lot sizes and honoring
the legacy of the area. Beyond being a Meridian resident, I have no ties or vested interest to this
development. However, I wanted to thank you for allowing the developer to keep the larger lot sizes and not
force them into an R8 section of the development. This type of development is what I would support for our
community and wish this was the standard the city would push for. Thank you again for supporting this.
