I was informed by the applicant that a signal was being considered at the South end of the project. I verified with City staff that the position of ITD is that a signal will only be allowed at the half mile. With this in mind, it is the position of the Meridian Fire Department that crossover traffic at this location into the project from Meridian Rd. will pose a safety hazard to drivers. Therefore we are opposed to a full access on the South end of the project.
