Broadway Ave Meridian, ID 83642 RE: Design Review for Briar Ridge Subdivision Dear Joe Dodson: On behalf of the Trilogy Idaho and CBH Homes, please accept this request for Design Review of Briar Ridge Subdivision. The Briar Ridge neighborhood is located at the southwest corner of Meridian Road and W. Quartz Street. The overall neighborhood is 38.38 acres, only the southeast _ _CNAM SUW portion of neighborhood subject to the design review process. s 1 = i , 'I.. ¢ A ,. ,. ,. ,L'i �• This southeast portion of the Briar Ridge neighborhood has a total 19 townhome buildings, with 11, six-plexes and 8, four-plexes for a total of 98 townhome units. The 98 units are divided into 60 units that are 1,583 square foot and 38 units that are 1,440 square foot all of the units all have their own attached two car garage. The buildings will promote visually aesthetic I building design with architectural characteristics A and elevation styles that will be consistent with d - the single family overall neighborhood. The townhomes will have the same ceiling/room and roof heights as other two story single family homes in the overall Briar Ridge neighborhood, the ensure a neighborhood cohesion as a whole. There will be multiple elevation styles with different materials, color, and roof pitches, in order to create complimentary variation while ensuring no two buildings viewed from the public street are alike. Building colors will be subject to change and color trend change both the single homes and townhomes colors will. Architectural elements such window size and location, trim separation between different facade materials, and using columns and roof lines to direct views will all promote an attractive residential unit that fits with the quality of the surrounding neighborhood. 3161 E.
