I am doing the cursory review for your submittal for the Friendship Annexation and Subdivision.
Please note there have been recent changes to the amount of required common open space. These
changes went into effect on October 5. For a property zoned R-8, you are now required to provide
15%. Your open space exhibit shows 10.8%.
You are going to have to rework the landscape plan and plat before I can get this scheduled for
hearing.
11-3G3: STANDARDS FOR COMMON OPEN SPACE:
A. Open Space mid SiIe Amenity Minimum Requirements: The minimum requirements are based
on both the quantity and quality of open space provided.
1. Minimum open space quantity requirements: 7Le total land area of all common open space that
meets the standards asset forth in subsection B of this section shall eqUal OF exceed ten lIeFe01111

b. When a p_roiect is located in more than one zone, the calculation of the minimum required
oncn space shall be based on the land area in each zone, and the total for each zone shall
