CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN ALL NECESSARY EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL AND EPA NPDES PERMITS PRIOR TO STARTING WORK. 2. CLEARING AND GRUBBING SHALL CONFORM TO ISPWC SECTION 201 AND THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PROJECT GEOTECHNICAL REPORT. 3. EXCAVATION AND EMBANKMENT SHALL CONFORM TO ISPWC SECTION 202 WITH CLASS B COMPACTION AND FOLLOW THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE GEOTECHNICAL REPORT. 4. NO GRADING IS PERMITTED ON ADJACENT PROPERTY. MATCH INTO EXISTING GRADE 2' FROM PROPERTY BOUNDARY. NO DRAINAGE SHALL BE ALLOWED TO PASS FROM THE PROJECT SITE ONTO ADJACENT PROPERTY. 5. ANY UNCONTROLLED FILL ENCOUNTERED BENEATH PROPOSED BUILDING PADS AND DRIVE AISLES SHALL BE EXCAVATED TO SUFFICIENT DEPTHS TO EXPOSE COMPETENT NATIVE SOILS, REPLACED, AND RECOMPACTED. 8. PRIOR TO PLACEMENT OF ANY GENERAL FILL, THE SITE SUBGRADE SHALL BE PREPPED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GEOTECHNICAL REPORT. THE PREPPED SUBGRADE SHALL BE OBSERVED AND APPROVED BY THE PROJECT GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER PRIOR TO PLACEMENT OF FILL MATERIALS. 9. FILL PLACED TO DEVELOP BUILDING PADS SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS FOR GENERAL FILL. GENERAL FILL USED FOR SITE GRADING MAY BE OBTAINED FROM ON -SITE EXCAVATIONS OR APPROVED BORROW SOURCES. GENERAL FILL MATERIAL SHALL HAVE A MAXIMUM PARTICLE SIZE LESS THAN 6 INCHES AND SHALL BE FREE OF EXCESS MOISTURE, ORGANIC MATTER AND DEBRIS. REFER TO THE GEOTECHNICAL REPORT FOR ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS. 10. ALL AREAS OF CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE STRIPPED. STRIPPING SHALL CONSIST OF REMOVING THE TOPSOIL HUMUS. STRIPPED MATERIALS SHALL BE PLACED OR STOCKPILED BY THE CONTRACTOR ON THE SITE AS SHOWN ON THE PLANS AND PER INSTRUCTION BY THE OWNER/DEVELOPER, OR HAULED OFF SITE TO AN APPROVED LOCATION. 11. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CLEAN ALL SPILLED DIRT, GRAVEL OR OTHER FOREIGN MATERIALS CAUSED BY THE CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS FROM ALL STREETS AND ROADS AT THE CONCLUSION OF EACH DAY OR OPERATION. CLEANING SHALL BE BY GRADER AND FRONT-END LOADER, SUPPLEMENTED BY POWER BRUSHING AND HAND LABOR UNLESS OTHERWISE APPROVED BY THE CITY. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FOLLOW CITY AND DEQ EROSION CONTROL PROCEDURES. 12. AS SOON AS PRACTICAL AFTER COMPLETION OF ALL PAVING, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL DIRT, MUD, ROCK GRAVEL AND OTHER FOREIGN MATERIALS FROM THE PAVED SURFACE AND STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEM. 13. CONTRACTOR SHALL RETAIN AN INDEPENDENT TESTING LABORATORY FOR FIELD QUALITY CONTROL OF ALL BACKFILL AND ASPHALT. FIELD QUALITY CONTROL SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ISPWC SECTION 204.3.4 AND SECTION 810.3.13, COPIES OF ALL TEST RESULTS SHALL BE PROVIDED TO THE CITY OF BOISE FOR REVIEW. 14. ALL UNSUITABLE MATERIAL SUCH AS SOILS, TRASH, AND VEGETATION SHALL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE CONTRACTOR AND PROPERLY DISPOSED OF OFF SITE. 15.
