I have visited the site at 1710 E Amity Rd Meridian, ID 83642 the Grayson Sub Development project and
in compliance with the Tree Preservation Code 11-3B-10 I have compiled the Required Tree Mitigation
notes for the Landscape Improvement Plan, please see below;
There were a number of trees on the property that do not meet Tree Mitigation requirements due
to their condition, or species. These trees are identified on the accompanying document with a red
X. Other trees present on the site that are not identified on the document do not meet mitigation
requirements.
Total tree mitigation required for trees if removed = 104" DBH
There are three (3) mature Juniper trees identified on the plan, that ordinarily would meet the
mitigation requirements. However, due to apparent plans for a future Roundabout at the Locust
Grove & Amity intersection, those trees will likely be eliminated. There is an opportunity here to
accrue some Tree Mitigation credit, if the wood from these trees can be salvaged and donated to
the Idaho Urban Wood Network. (18", 16", 18" for a total of 52" possible credit) Wood would
have to meet the standards for the Urban Wood Network to qualify as a credit.
