Good afternoon,
I was informed today by our HOA president that today is the last day to comment on the proposal to increase the
density that the parcel of land at the east end of Newland St. is zoned for.
What I can tell you is I am exceptionally disappointed in the City of Meridian. I have not experienced it to be the great
place to live that I heard so much about when I moved here three years ago. Our streets feel like used car lots with
parked cars 24 hours/day pointed in both directions on both sides of the street. I have marijuana smells coming in my
window during the summer and people having sex in the street beyond my backyard fence. Increasing the home density
that parcel zoned for only increases the likelihood that my neighborhood remains trashy and gets trashier. Please don't
do this to those of us who are trying to make this a respectable neighborhood. Please don't work against us.
