City Clerk and Whom it May Concern,
I am writing to ask for a rejection of the R-15 zoning change for the 1.22 acres that is located at the end of Newland
Street. This Pinedale subdivision is asking to put in 12 new homes on a 1.22 acre lot that is zoned right now for 3-8
houses.
I think that adding 12 houses on such a small place will have a great negative impact for the area, there is already
a problem with parking and there will be no street parking for any residence of those 12 homes. Why do they need to
change it to a high density zone and not leave it for only 3-8 houses at the medium zoning which it is currently.
Not just the parking, there are so many kids that play on the street and adding 12-24 plus cars to such a small amount of
space is dangerous.
They also don't have enough common space for the 12 families that would be living there and that too would cause a
problem, where they will be playing not in their subdivision which I think should be included in their own subdivision.
I feel like this should be denied and kept the same. Please deny the change and keep our street safe.
