Commissioners & Staff,
The objective of our certificate of zoning compliance permit is to obtain approval to construct a
two -level office building on approximately 1.6 acres of vacant land at 3147 Belltower Drive.
The property, zoned L-C, is located on the east of Ten Mile Road, immediately south of the Polaris
Learning Center and north of a vacant parcel.
The project parcel has an existing sidewalk and existing landscape on the west side of the
property along Ten Mile Road. Surrounding that is grassy open space throughout the
development. We have planned dedicated open space with a seating area and pergola structure
for the tenants of the office to enjoy. We will provide a variety of canopy trees, shrubs, perennials
and grassy open space. The landscape will provide a great contrast and accent architectural
materials used on the building.
The building incorporates a combination of materials and textures, such as stucco, concrete, and
faux wood, that provide a beautify aesthetic facade from all four elevations. An extensive
amount of glass on all sides increase the amount of natural light into the building while adding
an airy juxtaposition to the other materials.
The Belltower office will provide an attractive improvement to the area and provide services for
the community for all to benefit.
