Highlights of Proposed Development: Annexation and Zoning of 4.99 acres from R2 (Ada County) to RA
(Medium Low-Density Residential) and Preliminary Plat approval of 16 single family residential lots and
1 common lot on 4.99 acres. The applicant has also requested a Variance from UDC 11-6C-3 for cul-de-
sac length to exceed 450 feet, for the proposed Manship Place cul~de-sac, which is approximately 600 feet
long.

Outstanding Issue(s) for City Council: After the P&Z Commission meeting a letter was received from the
Blackstone HOA (neighbors left the P&Z meeting early do to the length of the agenda). The main.
concerns of the HOA are construction traffic and safety of the children in the area. The HOA is requesting
the City to address/acknowledge their request for speed bumps and the traffic problem (please see letter
dated February 23,2006)

Council is the decision making body on Variance applications.
