APPROVED or Alternative Compliance for Landscape Buffer for proposed cell tower at 355 N. Ten Mile Rd.
DATE 02/22/22 , Idaho.
FILE NUMBER' -
• All tower facilities shall include a landscape buffer. The buffer shall consist of a landscape strip
of at least five (5) feet wide outside the perimeter of the compound. A minimum of fifty (50)
percent of the plant material shall be of an evergreen variety.
Reasons why strict adherence and application of the requirements are not feasible.
1. Visible impact is minimal.
2. Topography, soil, vegetation and other site conditions are such that full compliance is impossible
and impractical.
3. Proposed site will be located in the interior of an existing storage facility and will not be visible
to the general public.
4. Existing storage facility currently has a landscape buffer.
5. Proposed site will be located on existing concrete (entire storage facility is concrete) with no
access to irrigation. As a result, plants and vegetation will not receive water and will perish.
6. Unable to install irrigation and sprinkler lines at site location.
