RE: H-201-0064 Black Cat Business Center
Dear Mayor Simison and Council Members:
I am writing to express my support of the Black Cat Business Center application.
Blackcat1, LLC owns the +/-33-acre neighboring property directly to the east of the
northern half of the proposed Business Center.
Our property is designated for Medium High Density Residential development in
the City of Meridian FLUM. The Black Cat Business Center's design and mix of flex and
light industrial uses are compatible with the future development of Blackcat1, LLC's 33-
acre property. The Business Center will provide a great transitional use from the multi-
family development along Black Cat Rd. The Black Cat Business Center's street scape
and concept elevations, especially those along Black Cat, are attractively designed and
will transition well from the residential uses across the street.
In addition to creating a great transitional use in the area, the Black Cat Business
Center will provide the type of industrial product that our community urgently needs,
specifically along 1-84. The location, timing, and product type proposed by the Black Cat
Business Center will help fill the void of industrial space our market is experiencing.
