The owners, Stake in the Ground LLC is looking at constructing a new facility for a
State Farm Insurance office, along with a vanilla space for future tenant. The address of
this facility is 3146 W. Belltower Dr. Meridian, Idaho 83646.
The building itself will consist of wood construction, with the exterior matching the
existing office buildings that surround this facility. The exterior will be a stucco finish,
color to match existing buildings which will be a tan or beige color stucco. The roof will
be a hip roof system, which will match the existing buildings with a architectural grade
shingled roof system, color to match which will be a dark gray color roof shingles. The
fascia will be a double stacked fascia, hardboard fascia dark gray color. The building will
have a stone veneer base which will also match the existing buildings that surround this
building. All windows will be vinyl windows and will match the existing buildings.
The site plan, will have a good mixture of landscaping, paving and building for the
overall coverage of the site. This site is an existing site, which already has the parking
and asphalt in place along with the sidewalk and trash enclosure. We will add a new
sidewalk that leads to the building.
We have shown landscaping to enhance the building design which will be consistent with
good practices and will have a variety of plant materials. The landscape plan will have
similar soft and hard surfaces as the existing surrounding buildings.
The site lighting will be done with lights from the building. All wall mounted exterior
light fixtures which will transmit the light downward towards the parking only.
We hope this project will be acceptable to the planning department. We feel that this new
building will add to the quality of architecture and distinctiveness of the area, also fit the
needs of the owners.
With varying building materials, varying colors we feel the beauty of the building is well
within the guidelines as requested in the Meridian Design Manual.
