RE: Graycliff Subdivision- Phase 1 Design Review
To Whom it May Concern —
This letter accompanies the Design Review submittal for the Graycliff Subdivision Community Center
and entry monument.
Graycliff Subdivision is located north west of the intersection of Meridian Road and E. Amity Road, off
of Harris Street. The subdivision is planned to contain both single-family and multifamily housing
types and will be constructed in 4 phases. Construction of Phase 1 improvements are nearing
completion. The Community Center will be located in common lot 1 block 5 of Phase 1. This location,
near the entrance of the subdivision, will provide convenient access for all residents.
The Community Center improvements will include an approximately 780 SF pool house, which
contains restrooms and equipment storage. A pool, playground and pathways will be provided for
recreation.
The restroom and storage building was designed per the City of Meridian Architectural standards
Manual and the Unified Development Code. The building is designed to be cohesive with the future
homes surrounding the lot and is designed to be an appropriate scale and form for the site.
Renderings of the building with views from the pool and parking lot are included with this application
to show the intended materials and architectural elements. The site includes 2 streetlights along
Briaridge Drive, one near the entrance to the parking lot, and one near the playground.
The entrance monument will be designed with similar colors and theme to the community center
building.
Off-street parking will be provided by a small parking lot, containing 4 standard spaces and 1 ADA
accessible space.
Thank you for your consideration of this application. If you have any questions, please contact me at
