As a community company, New Cingular Wireless (AT&T Wireless) is serious about serving the growing demands of
the Meridian area. For this very reason AT&T Wireless is requesting an certificate of zoning compliance to allow
antennas and related equipment to the existing Verizon Wireless monopole tower site at the above address. In
lieu of building and proposing a new wireless telecommunications facility, AT&T has entered into agreement with
Verizon to co -locate on their facility. Pursuant to 11-4-3-43 of the City of Meridian Wireless communication facility
ordinance, AT&T is requesting to collocate to reduce the number of towers required to serve the city.
The purpose of this project application is to close a significant coverage cap within the community of Meridian,
Idaho. Much of this area has poor to unreliable service for Indoor, outdoor and vehicle standards. The proposed
design and attachment to the existing Verizon Wireless monopole wireless facility is the least intrusive means of
improving service to this area. The installation of this new wireless facility will also improve Data/Phone and
enhanced 911 services to this immediate area. 0% 1 1 % w; 1 I % Ir..r
AT&T Wireless is proposing to add Six (6) panel antennas as well and Nine (9) Remote Radio units as well as a
prefabricated building to house all of the electronic equipment within the gated and secured facility. The
equipment will be secured and screened from public access.
