Priority 2 type calls require an urgent response where the officer will arrive as soon as practical, and should obey all traffic laws. The Meridian Police Department will support all Community Development Staff recommendations, Traffic Impact Studies from ITD and or ACHD to improve access, roadways, intersections, pathways and sidewalks before the project if fully completed. Priority 3 type calls are an emergency response in which the lights and siren and driving as authorized for an emergency vehicle by Idaho Code to facilitate the quick and safe arrival of an officer to the scene. • Simple Assaults (Domestic Batteries, Injuries to Children, Simple Batteries, etc.), and • Destruction/Damage/Vandalism of Property. Any shared driveways shall have address signs at each entrance and the roadways shall be maintained for emergency response. Any gated communities shall provide a gate code key pad to allow police access to any part of the gated community. Any townhomes or multi-family units shall be clearly marked with addresses and unit numbers visible day or night for emergency response. The applicant shall place a way-finding map at each entrance.
