The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) appreciates the opportunity to comment on the above
referenced application.
Per the City's March 14,2006 Public Hearing notice (dated February 22,2006), regarding the
private street application for multifamily and commercial development and a variance to allow
access to state highway for the Bienville Square Subdivision, ITD offers the following
comment(s):
. ITD has received a permit application for access to SH-55 for this development and is
currently being reviewed.
. Any desired access on to Eagle Road requires a permit from ITD prior to construction
. Improvements to Eagle Road should be a condition of approval to their variance
. Access as proposed does not meet spacing requirements for a Type N facility, access every
'lS mile in urban areas for public street approaches.
. Cross-connectivity with adjacentowners should be implemented by the developer.
