Meridian City Council Members,
Please reconsider allowing Centerville Subdivision to include 207 new homes. As a resident of South Meridian and a
parent of school age children, I have seen school classroom sizes grow from a reasonable 18-25 student count to
upwards of 34 students some years. This doesn't benefit the teachers OR the students. Allowing yet another developer
to add dense housing where schools are already bursting at the seams is irresponsible. Tax payers are frustrated enough
with the growth moving as quickly as it is, that they don't want to pay for more schools to be built with bonds, etc
because they didn't ask for this quick growth and don't feel they need to foot the bill. I always vote yes for school bonds
because my children's education is important to me, but I'm beginning to feel that I'm in the minority. Please seek out
an honest discussion with the West Ada School District before approving any more high density housing so both parties
can come to a solution we all can live with.
Sincerely,
Julie Edwards
