Andrew — your private lane is approved. It will need to be signed "No Parking Fire Lane" the entire
length. Please be sure to have something in the CCR's about towing and/or ticketing vehicles that
are parked in the fire lane.
Roadways: When required by the Fire Marshall, "No Parking Fire Lane" signs
shall be used per appendix D of the 2018 IFC. Signs shall be installed per ACHD
standards. The bottom of the sign(s) should be 7' above the road/sidewalk surface
shall not be in the travel way. The sign(s) shall be installed about 6" — 1' behind
the curbing or edge of pavement on a Telspar post. No other signs shall be
approved:

Joe,
We are currently pursuing a preliminary plat application for this site. Along with that application, we
are also applying for private street approval. As a requirement by the city of meridian for this private
street application, we are in need of fire department approval. I wanted to reach and see if that is
something you could provide at this time. I've attached a couple of items to help with your review.
Thank you,
Andrew

The layout is fine. So there would really just be one gate then? The one by the restaurant will be a
faux one?
The gate would need an Opticom device to open it and a knox key switch in case the Opticom fails.
