RE: First Amendment to the Urban Renewal Plan for the
Union District Urban Renewal Project
Dear Sir or Madam:
Enclosed please find a recorded copy of Ordinance No. 21-1956 (without exhibits or
attachments) adopting the First Amendment to the Urban Renewal Plan for the Union District
Urban Renewal Project (the “First Amendment”) annexing 1.461 acres into the existing revenue
allocation area pursuant to Idaho Code Sections 50-2903A(1)(a)(ii) and 50-2033, which First
Amendment was approved by the City of Meridian City Council on December 7, 2021, and
signed by the Mayor of Meridian on December 7, 2021. Publication of the Ordinance Summary
in the Idaho Press occurred on December 12, 2021. A copy of the published Ordinance
Summary is also enclosed.
There were no substantive changes to the First Amendment from the copy transmitted to
you on or before October 12, 2021; and therefore, the First Amendment and attachments will
not be recirculated.
As set forth in Idaho Code Section 50-2907, you are also being provided a separate
recorded copy of the legal description and map of the area annexed into the existing Union
District revenue allocation area.
Copies of all documents, including the First Amendment to the Union District Plan and its
attachments and the Urban Renewal Plan for the Union District Urban Renewal Project, can be
obtained from the offices of the City Clerk, 33 E. Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, 83642
and/or are available on the City of Meridian’s website: https://bit.ly/UnionFirstAmendment.
