RE: Black Cat Industrial Project (H-2021-0064)
Dear Mayor and Council Members,
I am the owner of approximately 14.5 acres at 5317 W Franklin Rd in Meridian, and we share a
southern boundary with the proposed Black Cat Industrial Project. We support this project and
the proposed I-L zoning for several reasons.
• First, we believe that light industrial and flex industrial space is desperately needed in
Meridian.
• Second, we believe this is the right location for the light industrial use because of it's
proximity to freeways and other industrial development
• Third, we are also hoping to develop our parcel, and if the annexation for this project is
approved then we will be city adjacent so we can annex in the future.
