Re: Design Review - Narrative
To whom it may concern:
We are proposing a new dental building on an existing property within City of Meridian. This site
is located at 3177 W Milano Dr and is .636 acres. The existing property is adjacent to developed
sites on east side of 10 Mile Road near McMillan and 10 Mile. Surrounding sites are commercial to
the north, south, and west and a commercial zone to east with an assisted living facility located
on it.
The main entrance, reception and waiting room to the building is located along the east side of
the building and is shielded from 10 Mile Road. The main parking field is also located on the east
side, shielded from 10 Mile Road.
City of Meridian compliant landscaping is provided around the perimeter property lines and in the
parking lot at the end of the drive aisles. Access to the site is provided from one location on the
east side and is a shared entrance with the future development to the south. Pedestrian access is
along the same as vehicular with a sidewalk on the east side of the building.
The proposed dental building is approximately 4,200 square feet. The structure will be a one-
story building. It is a wood framed structure with metal wall panels and steel beams as accents.
Exterior walls will be cement plaster/stucco with. The scale is pedestrian with a 24’-6”” +- to top
of the single sloped roof at the tallest point. Landscaping around the perimeter will influence a
cohesive design.
