I strongly support the proposed seminary building project, and oppose another housing division (RE: Aviator Springs
Subdivision, # H-2021-0065). Please approve the building of this seminary building. Seminary buildings are
places of peace, reflection and worship. It symbolizes goodness in a community. It encourages students to
attend, when a building is in close proximity. Currently students have to drive or bus quite a distance to attend
seminary. It's expensive and puts teen drivers at risk.
Seminary class helps teens find their moral compass and encourages good decision making. It gives them a
healthy perspective to their lives and fosters kindness and hope. These are qualities every school community
needs. We don't need another housing division that produces traffic, congestion and eventual loss in value. A
seminary building is invaluable. We need a place for teens to learn and grow that will strengthen our
community in years to come.
