I have read all the information on this light industrial area project on Black Cat and have some questions. Not sure if we
will make it to the 11-18 meeting.
1. Looks like businesses will be coming and going onto Black Cat, but doesn't look like the street will be widened. Also, if
you are putting up a traffic light this can be a problem with the gravel trucks that travel down Black Cat. These trucks can't
easily stop and you are putting the lives of people at risk. The other day traveling from Overland to Franklin on Black Cat,
I had two (2) gravel trucks in front of me and one (1) behind me.
2. What about how this is going to impact the water table in the area. The homes between Black Cat and McDermott are
on wells and our water table is being reduced by all the new homes and apartments going in on Franklin already. Are you
or the builder going to pay to have our wells dropped down?
Please make sure that the City Council is aware of our concerns.
