Idaho Fitness Factory has been locally owned and operating in the Treasure
Valley for may years. They have been expanding their gyms throughout the years and
recently just built a brand-new facility in Meridian ID. The existing building located at
1535 W Franklin Road is one of the various Idaho Fitness Factory locations in the valley.
The gym is looking to revamp their exterior to match their other existing buildings to
follow the company’s branding standards. Idaho Fitness Factory takes on an industrial,
yet modern style using various materials such as; Stucco, and corrugated metal siding
that runs both vertical and horizontal. The brand also incorporates red accents in their
metal awnings and signage to bring in an eye catching color.
The new design maintains continuous elements supporting building scale, mass
form and the used of varying materials. The updated building design has consistent
architectural features facing the public roadway. The new façade will provide a more
linear design than what is existing. Removing the entry gables and adding a linear
parapet to the front façade. There will be two additional parapets added to the
building façade to break up the roof line.
