Explorer Drive Suite 200 Boise, ID 83713 RE:Groundwater data for Paramount # 13 site I asked Harley Noe to research our groundwater monitoring data, test hole soil descriptions in the near vicinity of Paramount Subdivision No. 13. He found monitoring data for twenty test holes in Section 25, Township 4 North, Range 1 West and seven test hole soil descriptions ( we do not have electronic soil profile descriptions available prior to 2003 ). I have attached his report which details this information. The Paramount Subdivision No. 13 area is located in the southeast quarter of Section 25. The nearest test holes monitored show the highest groundwater to be at a depth of ten to twelve feet plus, below ground level. There should be no problem with groundwater entering crawl spaces of structures built in this portion of the Paramount project. In reviewing the seven test hole soil descriptions I found extremely gravelly fine and medium sand in the substratum soil materials which would provide very good filtering capability and water transmission for storm drain facilities. Explorer Drive Suite 200 Boise, ID 83713 RE: Groundwater data for Paramount #13 site Attached is the requested available groundwater information for the above referenced site located in the SE '/4 of Section 25, Township 4 North, Range 1 West. I compiled a map showing the approximate boundary of the area and surrounding test hole locations. Most test holes were described to a depth of about 15 feet during the period 2001 through 2006 by Associated Earth Sciences during various phases of the Paramount project. These locations are depicted on the map with a red bullet. Also included are two test holes (TH 1-04 and TH2-04) which were excavated for the City of Meridian along the sewer right of way and were taken to a depth of 20 feet. These two test holes are near the Phase 13 portion of your project and are noted with a yellow triangle symbol. Groundwater monitor data was collected for the indicated test holes between 2002 and 2006. The highest water table depth recorded at each test hole location is shown on the map in inches. Depths of holes where no free water was encountered are also displayed. I selected this approach to allow the map to provide a summary of all groundwater data. The highest groundwater level recorded in all test holes in Section 25 was at 102 inches below ground level on September 13, 2002 at test hole TH1-02 in the southwest comer of the section. The highest recorded level nearest Phase 13 was at TH2-05 about '/4 mile west with a reading of 145 inches below ground level on September 15, 2005. For your meeting, I have provided Glen Logan with copies of groundwater monitor data to support the map information. I also provided detailed soil profile descriptions of all test holes placed after 2002. Electronic copies of profile descriptions of the earlier soil test holes are not available. These descriptions should not be necessary since monitor data is provided. The data shows that there should be no groundwater present at a depth above about 12 feet below ground level nearby this phase. There should be no problem with groundwater impact on crawl spaces of structures placed in this portion of the Paramount project. HARLEY R.
