The purpose of this letter is to request a time extension for the preliminary plat approval for Settlers
Square Subdivision, located at 870 W. Ustick Rd Meridian, Idaho.
Date of Original Approval:
The preliminary plat for Settlers Square Subdivision was approved by Meridian City with a condition
that the development agreement be modified prior to the City Council approving the findings. Those
were finalized around January 16, 2018 which started timeframe for the 2 year approval.
Date of Approval Expiration:
The preliminary plat for Settlers Square Subdivision will expire on January 16, 2020.
Reason for Extension:
ACHD performed substantial reconstruction along Ustick Rd which significantly impacted access
during construction. It appears the market in that area may be rebounding and therefore we ask for
some additional time to allow the subdivision move forward to development..
Time Period for Extension:
The requested time extension for the preliminary plat two years or until 2022.
