I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Six (6) month time extension on the Preliminary Plat (H-2018-0018) in order to obtain the City
Engineer’s signature on a final plat.

III. STAFF ANALYSIS
The preliminary plat (H-2018-0018) for this project was approved by City Council on September 4,
2018. The plat consists of 47 single-family residential building lots and 11 common lots on 10.25 acres
of land in the R-8 zoning district. Note: The subject time extension request was submitted on August
18, 2020, prior to expiration of the preliminary plat on September 4, 2020.
The Applicant requests approval of a six (6) month time extension in order to obtain the City Engineer’s
signature on a final plat. The Applicant is currently routing the mylar for signature and should have it
signed in the near future.

With all extensions, the Director may require the preliminary plat to comply with the current provisions
of this title. Staff is not recommending any additional conditions of approval for this extension.
IV. DECISION
Staff:
Staff recommends approval of the proposed one (1) year time extension on the preliminary plat to
expire on March 4, 2021.

Site Specific Conditions:
1. Applicant shall comply with all terms of the annexation and associated development
agreement provisions (Inst. #2018-117003) and the preliminary plat (H-2018-0018) approved
for this property.
2. The applicant shall obtain the City Engineer’s signature on the final plat by March 4, 2021 in
accord with UDC 11-6B-7 in order for the preliminary plat to remain valid; or another time
extension may be requested.
